1. Agreement to Terms

1.1. These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MarriageOfficerja.com.

1.2. By accessing or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Services

2.1. MarriageOfficerja.com provides wedding officiant services for various types of ceremonies, including but not limited to civil, religious, and custom ceremonies.

2.2. The terms of the services provided may be outlined in individual service agreements or packages.

3. Booking and Payments

3.1. To book our services, you may be required to provide certain personal information and agree to the terms of the booking process.

3.2. Full payment is required at the time of booking. We do not accept deposits, partial payments, or payment plans. Your wedding date is only reserved upon receipt of full payment.

3.3. All prices and packages are listed in US Dollars and may be settled by Jamaican equivalent via our payment gateway. Jamaican dollar amounts will be calculated at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of payment.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

4.1. Cancellation policies are as follows:
- 30+ days before ceremony: 75% refund
- 15-29 days before: 50% refund
- 8-14 days before: 25% refund
- 0-7 days before: No refund
- "No-shows" on wedding day: No refund

4.2. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.

4.3. If we must cancel due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer a full 100% refund or arrange a qualified substitute officiant (with your approval).

5. Rescheduling

5.1. Rescheduling requests must be made in writing.
5.2. First reschedule: No fee if requested 30+ days in advance and new date is available.
5.3. Rescheduling within 30 days of ceremony: $75 rescheduling fee.
5.4. Rescheduling is subject to availability and not guaranteed.

6. Legal Requirements

6.1. For legal weddings in Jamaica, clients are responsible for obtaining their Minister's Marriage Licence from the Jamaican Ministry of Justice. (This pre-wedding service may be bundled with your package already, free of cost)
6.2. We will verify licence validity, conduct the ceremony per Jamaican law, and handle RGD filing.
6.3. Jamaican marriage licences are valid for 3 months. Ensure your licence is valid on your wedding date.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1. All content on MarriageOfficerja.com, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is protected by intellectual property laws and is the property of MarriageOfficerja.com.

7.2. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from this website without prior written permission.

8. Privacy Policy

8.1. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. MarriageOfficerja.com and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of our services.
9.2. We are not liable for delays or cancellations due to client failure to obtain required marriage licences or provide accurate documentation.

10. Governing Law

10.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jamaica.

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions

11.1. MarriageOfficerja.com reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

11.2. Continued use of our services after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
